[1]] which enables us to tightly integrate Crystal Reports and Business Objects with WinLIMS.NET™. In addition, QSI is an authorized distributor of the Crystal Reports and Business Objects products which allows QSI to supply you with the product as a part of your WinLIMS purchase.
Crystal reports can be designed using data from WinLIMS.NET™ to accommodate to provide information to make your company run smoothly and efficiently. QSI supplies over 35 generic report formats which can be run 'as is' or altered to accommodate your most stringent needs. Some of the reports supplied include:
Business Objects InfoView
Reports are registered within Business Objects where they are associated with specific WinLIMS.NET™ pages. When run in this manner the current record (or record set) can be passed to the report to make effective use of the powerful query tools that are available within WinLIMS.NET™ which greatly minimize the number of report designs. Reports can be printed to hardcopy, saved as a file in a number of formats (e.g. pdf, doc, xls, txt, etc.) or emailed directly to the desired recipients. To add even more efficiency reports can be automatically sent to email recipients through the use of the integrated LIMS Events function.
As an option, your purchase of WinLIMS also includes the Business Objects web-based reporting system that allows reports to be run by authorized users without the need to access WinLIMS.NET™. You can use the software to create reports that combine data from any number of data sources and it can also be used as a document managment tool.
